Security Forces Target Terrorist Properties
In a related development, security forces have intensified their operations against terrorism, demolishing the homes of suspected terrorists in Chotipora village, Bandipora district.
Among those whose properties have been destroyed are members of various terrorist organizations, including Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed. Notable names include Adil Hussain Thoker, Zakir Ahmad Ganai, and Amir Nazeer Wani.
Security officials revealed that Ahsan ul Haq, who trained in Pakistan in 2018, had recently infiltrated the Valley, while Shahid Ahmad Kuttay has been linked to numerous anti-national activities.
The demolitions are part of a broader strategy to dismantle the terror infrastructure in Jammu and Kashmir, with ten properties destroyed since the deadly attack in Baisaran meadow on April 22, which resulted in 26 fatalities.
The homes of local terrorists Asif Sheikh and Adil Hussain Thoker, implicated in the Pahalgam attack, were demolished just two days ago. Additionally, eight other demolitions have occurred across various districts, including Ganderbal and Pulwama, with 175 suspects detained for questioning related to the attack.
